Week of August 28, 2023 – Yellow peaches are the classic peach, exuding quintessential peach flavor. They are great for baking, canning, snacking, or pretty much anything else you can think of. This week’s variety is Coralstar, a freestone variety named for its 80 percent red coloring.

These are the best peaches you’ll ever find! It is advised to wear a short-sleeved shirt, or roll up your sleeves when you go to eat one. They are so juicy that when you take your first bite, the juice will run right down to your elbow! I often cut mine up and eat them out of a bowl with a spoon.
